Sterile absorbable surgical suture composed of purified connective tissue (collagen) derived from the sub-mucousal layer of sheep intestine
Polished to give uniformity of diameter along the strand and a smooth surface for easy tissue passage
It is packed in conditioning fluid, which contains isopropanol, purified water, sodium benzoate, and ethylene oxide

Absorbable sterile surgical suture composed of purified connective tissue (collagen) derived from the sub-mucosal layer of sheep intestine
It has been tanned by treatment with chromium salt in the trivalent form and with oxidised pyrogallol to prolong its resistance to absorption and to color the material dark brown
Shelf life of 5 years

USP sizes available: 5-0 to 2
Suture length without needle: 152 cm, 2×76 cm
Suture length with needle: from 76 cm to 152 cm
Needle lengths: 12 mm to 65 mm across all needle profiles
